Golte, Ski Resort and Regional Park

Golte is a high plateau on the eastern outskirts of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. In winter, one of the major winter-summer mountain centres in Slovenia. During the winter it attracts mostly winter sports enthusiasts, while in the summertime the Golte Landscape Park is also a favourite point for hikers, mountain bikers, skydivers, cavers and other nature lovers.

Skiing above the clouds

The Golte ski resort, which has been selected several times as the best ski resort in Slovenia, lies at an altitude between 1,250m and 1,600m engulfing about 50 hectares of diverse nature. The ski slopes are wide and long and offer unforgettable views of the Savinjska Valley and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.

Around 12km of ski slopes are adapted to all types of skiers, 4.4 km for beginners, 7.4 km for intermediate and a little less than a kilometre of tracks for the most demanding skiers. In addition to the cable car there are 3 chairlifts, 2 lifts and a children’s polygon with a conveyor belt.

The ski resort has hotel Montis**** with a wellness centre, restaurant, fitness and congress hall. It is also possible to rent surrounding apartments.
