Low difficulty scenic high-altitude mountain tour Ravne mountain – Lučka koča – Dolga trata mountain – Ravne mountain leads across green pastures next to traditional shepherd’s huts. Along the way, attractive views of Rogatec, Lepenatka, Kranjska reber and the highest peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps open up. This is a quiet corner for enjoying nature and an excellent starting point for ascents to the surrounding peaks such as Dleskovec (1965 m), Veliki vrh (2114 m) and Molička planina (1835 m).

Dolga Trata – Trail Description
Ravne Mountain is a lively place, lying on the southeastern edge of the Dleskovo plateau. At the edge of the mountain there is a well-maintained shepherd’s hut, where it is possible to refresh yourself in the summer months. From the hut, go northwest along the pasture, then cross to the cart track, which you follow to the junction of the mountain path that leads to Veliki Vrh and Korošica.
Follow the signs, past the crossroads, where the trail branches off towards Polšak and Križevnik, soon you will reach the place where Lučka koča once stood. Here is a World War II memorial and a bench where you can relax. Continue to the left at the crossroads until you reach the shepherd’s hut on Dolga trata (1835 m).
From the mountain you will have a beautiful view of the Savinja Alps and part of the Dleskov plateau. The descent from Dolga trata back to the Ravne mountain pasture takes place along a trail that is niclely viible and clearly marked.
