Camp Menina has been awarded the Mark of Hospitality

Slovenian Tourist Board has awarded Camp Menina the Mark of Hospitality.

The Slovenian Tourist Board announced the winners of the “Moja dežela” – “My Land” – competition at the Slovenian Tourism Days in Laško. The new name of the competition is “Moja dežela – znak gostoljubnosti” – “My Land – a Mark of Hospitality” – and it highlights the hospitality roots of Slovenian tourism. The famous campaign “Slovenija, moja dežela” – “Slovenia, my land” – was the slogan of a major advertising campaign that laid the foundations of tourism in the 1980s. The campaign, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, was essentially about cultivating hospitality, in fact, about teaching Slovenes how to be friendly to both domestic and foreign visitors, which was also the main theme of the renewed My Land – Mark of Hospitality 2024. According to the assessments of the expert jury, gold, silver and bronze Signs of Hospitality were awarded. Green hospitality labels were awarded on the basis of an online vote. Among the Green Label winners in the campsite category is Camp Menina, a family-run campsite away from the busy roads and everyday noise. Congratulations!
