Chainsaw Sculpting Festival

Wood harvesting, sawing, chainsaw speed sawing, sculpting and a wild party is gaining popularity among the locals in Solčava and its surroundings. The party takes place every year at the end of August.

Programme 2025

12.00 men's, women's or mixed doubles competition
14.00 parade of vintage tractors through Solčava
15.00 old chainsaw competitions  (year of manufacture up to 1990)
17.00 speed carving with chainsaw - competitors from Croatia and Slovenia
19.00 party with Ansambel Gorenjski kvintet and awarding of prizes and acknowledgements
