Rečica ob Savinji every year during October revives old traditions by hosting a fair. The traditional fair, in the past, was one of the most important ones in the Upper Savinja Valley. Today artisans get to showcase their work accompanied by traditional cuisine. The fair strats at 9:00 with the raising of market’s and reciting of bargaining rules to insure fair play during haggling. Stories of the past come alive, proudly told by old townsfolk that mingle between the stands.
