DESCRIPTION

The house stands on the south side of Špika (1108 m), the westernmost peak of the Paški Kozjak at a height of 980 m. In 1954 – 1959, the lodge was built by Velenje’s climbers at the site of a former hunting cabin, which was burnt during the war. In 1971, they completed the construction of the road to the lodge, today it is paved.

6 km from Paka near Velenje on the paved road, 12 km from Dolič, Vitanje and Dobrna. Using marked trails from Velenje, Paka pri Velenju, Dolič, Vitanje, Dobrna and Socka. The Šaleška mountain trail and trail Pot XIV divizije. From the expanded Slovenian Mountain Path.
